Hello-World

The Project

Hello-World Studio is a playful brand and web practice that works primarily with fellow creatives to build “digital worlds” for their brands. Collaborating with Joy and Reyna, the creative partnership behind Hello-World, was nothing short of…well, dreamy!

Though Joy and Reyna had been dreaming up their studio for a while they needed help creating a clear brand story, messaging, and voice. They wanted a fun and unique experience for the studio, something that reflected their joyful and collaborative approach to creative work.

Early during the process of working with them I came up with the tagline that inspired the rest of their brand: “We make dreams reality and make reality dreamy.” We came up with the idea of 'the dreamspace' — a digital galaxy where brand worlds take shape and where their fellow creatives can connect through expression, community and collaboration.

Through collaborative workshops, we were able to define Hello-World’s brand values and vision, their unique value proposition, audience personas, brand archetypes and more.
I presented them with a brand strategy and messaging guide, complete with three possible creative directions for their visual identity which were all built upon the foundation we had laid together.
With one final strategy session, we visually mapped out the user experience for 'the dreamspace' and finalized the website copy. The digital home that they designed and developed for themselves feels like a portal into an alternate dimension, where everything is beautiful and strange and the creative possibilities are endless.
